VSNL's New Gameplan

With VSNL's proposed revised structure, if you use 500 hours in a year, you effectively end up paying :
For a TCP / IP : Rs. 44 per hour ( as compared with the earlier rate of 30 bucks / hour )
For a shell a/c : Rs. 22 per hour ( as compared with the earlier rate of 10 bucks / hour )
For students : Rs. 7 per hour ( as compared with the earlier rate of 1 buck / hour )
And these charges do not include the Rs. 18/hour that you end up paying separately to MTNL.

This proposed structure is up for feedback from subscribers - that's right - all of us ! This is our only chance to tell VSNL that this is damn unfair.
